Suite à la faillite de l'éditeur Acclaim, la licence Turok a été reprise par les petits gars de Propaganda Games et sera édité par Buena Vista Games. Ces derniers viennent d'ailleurs d'annoncer qu'ils utiliseront le moteur graphique Unreal Engine 3 pour la resurrection du chasseur de dinosaures sur consoles Next Gen. Gageons qu'une version PlayStation 3 soit prévue !

Epic's Unreal Engine 3 to power BVG's next generation content

Raleigh, N.C. and Burbank, Calif. - September 27, 2005 - Buena Vista Games, Inc. (BVG), the interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS), and Epic Games, world-class developers of cutting-edge video games and pioneer of the award-winning Unreal® Engine, today announced an agreement to license Unreal Engine 3 for multiple next-generation BVG projects. The first game under the agreement is based on the popular "Turok" franchise, and will be developed by BVG's new Propaganda Games studio in Vancouver, British Columbia.
