Le ressenti de Toshihiro Nagoshi, producteur de Yakuza 4, se confirme : le dernier opus de la franchise mafieuse s'est vendu comme des petits pains dans l'archipel nippon avec 384 000 copies écoulées en seulement deux jours de commercialisation. C'est en effet ce que révélent les chiffres de Media Create pour les ventes de software au Japon pour la semaine du 15 au 21 mars :
